About De Staat

Dutch alt-rockers De Staat are essential for fans of big riffs!

Formed in 2006, their members include Torre Florim (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Vedran Mircetic (lead guitar), Jop van Summeren (bass, synth), Rocco Hueting (keys, synth, rhythm guitar) and Tim van Delft (drums).

They have released five studio albums, including Wait for Evolution (2009), Machinery (2011), I_Con (2013), O (2016) and Bubble Gum (2019).

Staggering!

Quite simply astonishing. De Statt are the greatest live band on earth. I have been to hundreds of gigs in my time and I've seen some great ones but nothing, nothing compares to De Statt. They are funny, exciting, consummate musicians and their live performance is nothing short of miraculous. My friend could not take the smile off his face all evening. If you ever get to see this band run, run to the the ticket office. Unbelievable!
