Amazing!
Jethro Tull 50th anniversary concert confirms once again the visionary talent of Ian Anderson and his fellow musicians. Fifty seasons and still going strong: JT are far from being predictable and reinvent themselves showing how cutting-edge their repertoire is.
Perhaps it’s a pity that in a show celebrating JT material from their first 10 years “Hymn 43”, “The whistler”, “Fat man” and most of all “Wond’ring aloud” are not included in the set list. On the other hand, if there are certain songs that people need and want to hear, a real fan lets his band invest into the unknown and lead him/her where no one knows (not even the band sometimes!).
That’s what Jethro Tull did in their amazing show at the Liverpool Echo Arena on April 7 2018 and will do in their 50th anniversary tour.

Jethro Tull, Liverpool Echo Auditorium, Liverpool - 7th April 2018
An unforgettable Evening
An amazing night. A wonderful celebration of 50 years of Tull. Ian is a true showman still, leaping about the stage like a youngster. The performance was on of the best enhanced by the incredible timing of the video footage. Ian's voice was not as strong as in the past but it didn't stop him putting on a first rate show. Still, in my mind, the best live band around. Thank you to all concerned with the show.
On the negative side the Apollo needs better toilets and better parking. With the money that O2 makes out of this venue, some should at least be spent improving the facilities.
