About Martin Kemp

Martin Kemp is an accomplished English actor, musician, and television personality, best known as the bassist for the iconic new wave band Spandau Ballet. Kemp rose to fame in the 1980s with the band, which produced a string of hits, including “True,” “Gold,” and “Through the Barricades.” Their distinctive sound, characterised by smooth melodies and rich harmonies, solidified Spandau Ballet's place in pop history and earned them a dedicated fanbase.


Beyond his music career, Martin Kemp has made a name for himself in acting, notably starring as Steve Owen in the long-running soap opera EastEnders.
