Kate Nash was on terrific form at the Waterfront on Friday 7 June. I hadn't seen her for a while and it was great to catch up with her performance. Her stage presence was as electric as ever as she put everything into each song. There was a good mix of old favourites such as "Mariella" and songs from her new long player "Yesterday Was Forever", which stood up well. The crowd was, justifiably, joyous with many of them singing along with her most complex lyrics. To her credit she continues to speak passionately on the subject of mental health and made a particular point of urging us men to take more care of ourselves. I was sufficiently moved that I'm now listening to all her old stuff again and hope to see her again soon. Brilliant!

Kate Nash, Waterfront, Norwich - 7th June 2019
Venue not massive, so felt comfortable. It has quite a few thin-ish pillars, so visibility not brilliant if you're shorter than average and at the back. Acoustics not bad either. Not massively expensive drinks for a city centre venue either, so that's a win. Location excellent - easy to find, not far off a main drag, and close to city centre for pre or post socialising. Kate Nash, though. There are no words. Except perhaps "Epic". 12/10 - would recommend
