About Bad Sounds

Centred around Merrett brothers Callum and Ewan; Bad Sounds takes chillwave to the next level, fusing dreaming melodies and hypnotic rhythms the draw on hip hop, indie pop, and dance.

Bad Sounds attracted immediately attention with the Bath brothers dropped debut single “Wages” in 2016, which was picked up and championed by Annie Mac on her BBC Radio Show.

The pair have extended into a full live band, and gone on to release debut album Get Better and the Escaping from a Violent Time PT.1 EP.

One of the best bands I have ever seen and they are only just getting started.

Their songs are so catchy yet so unique. I was wondering how they were going to pull of some of their more complicated tracks but they pulled it off brilliantly with warm funky rock vibe. The audience were fully engaged and you can tell that they got take themselves too seriously. Giving each other piggy back rides on stage. You need to see them before the tickets get very expensive. Listen to them on Spotify NOW and you'll hooked too.
