Formed in Birmingham in the mid-1990's, Bentley Rhythm Ace originally consisted of Richard March and Mike Stokes.
As one of the key groups of the 'Big Beat' era the band released the hit single 'Bentley's Gonna Sort You Out' on Skint Records followed by their eponymously titled debut LP in 1997.
Bentley Rhythm Ace also now feature James Atkin from EMF and Fuzz Townsend from Pop Will Eat Itself as part of their touring group.
Jon Carter was one of the resident DJ's at 'Big Beat' club night The Heavenly Social along with the Chemical Brothers, Death in Vegas and Fatboy Slim. He released tunes under the pseudonym's Artery, Monkey Mafia, & Junior Cartier on the Wall of Sound & Heavenly labels.
