About Billie Marten

The voice of North Yorkshire songwriter Billie Marten belies her young age. Moving and evocative; the now 23 year old guitarist became a teen folk icon with the release of her acclaimed Ribbon EP, gaining ever more listers with follow up extended player As Long As.


Signed to major label RCA, she was able to develop her rich, lush sound as heard on her essential LPs Writing of Blues and Yellows (2016), Feeding Seahorses by Hand (2019) and Flora Fauna (2021). Her next record Drop Cherries is scheduled for release in 2023.
