Blaenavon Tickets

Harmonious guitar band Blaenavon are awash with gorgeous melodies and their heartfelt vocals are fast touching audiences everywhere. Despite their obvious youthful talent already producing songs that are entrancing all who hear them, the trio claim they are just “three boys with a story to tell”.

Hailing from the village of Liss in Hampshire, the band members include drummer Harris McMillan, singer Ben Gregory playing guitar and Frank Wright on bass.

They take their title from the South West Welsh town of the same name. A former ironworks and mining community, Blaenavon in Torfaen which boasts being home to the world’s very first ever railway viaduct. The town was subject of a Channel 4 Time Team episode which partially excavated this significant piece of industrial history.

The youthful vigour of the band is pushed into experimentation with sound, uniting big beats with great emotional depth in the vocals and layered melodies. They have produced the exquisite records Miss World EP, Koso EP and Let’s Pray. They are signed to the label Trangressive.
