About Bryde

Bryde is the moniker indie-rock singer-songwriter Sarah Howells from Pembrokeshire, Wales, known for her raw, emotive vocals and introspective lyrics. Her debut album, Like an Island dropped in 2018. She followed this with The Volume of Things (2020), featuring the standout track "The Trouble Is". Bryde has performed at festivals like SXSW and supported artists such as Rufus Wainwright and The Joy Formidable on tour. Her latest album, Still (2022), continues to showcase her poignant and powerful songwriting.

Great gig, awesome Bryde performance!

Great gig, loved the support act (Freyja Elsy) and awesome performance from Sarah (Bryde)! Vocals fragile one minute and strength personified the next over a rockier guitar than I’ve heard before from her! Loved it! Looking forward to the next local Bryde gig!

Sarah is amazing. This was a fantastic gig, the audience were so quiet during the show you could hear every word. Loved it.
