Coliseum was an American punk and sludge-metal band from Louisville, Kentucky, formed in 2003. Their sound evolved from hardcore punk to a more post-punk and alternative rock style over the years. Notable albums include No Salvation (2007), House with a Curse (2010), and Anxiety’s Kiss (2015). Known for their raw energy and intensity, Coliseum toured extensively, sharing stages with acts such as High on Fire and Converge. They disbanded in 2015, but their impact on the hardcore and punk scenes remains influential, with a legacy of passionate live performances and hard-hitting music.
