Nigerian-Canadian star Debby Friday is consistently pushing sonic boundaries, with her eclectic blend of electronic and pop.
Citing influences from Detroit techno, Gqom, baile funk and even 'shoegaze dancehall', Debby Friday has never been afraid to be unique. Since her 2018 debut EP "BITCHPUNK" which is characterised by elements of hip-hop beats and industrial music, Friday has even began to incorporate her own natural falsetto vocals as well as some post-punk energy in her other musical ventures.
