About The Dillinger Escape Plan
Mathcore band The Dillinger Escape Plan are noted for their sheer intensity of their wild live shows and the ferocity in their sound. The bands line up currently consists of drummer Billy Rymer, rhythm guitarist Kevin Antreassian, lead guitarist Ben Weinman and Greg Puciato proving lead vocals with Liam Wilson on bass.
The band first formed in 1997 following the evolution of hardcore punk band Arcane which included Weinman. Arcane released an eponymously titled six track EP which included a track entitled The Dillinger Escape Plan, a reference to the infamous bank robber of the thirties, which exploded their popularity. Changes in the line-up prompted a change in name taken form the track title.
The Dillinger Escape Plan were quick to capture attention and soon were signed. Their incredible back catalogue includes Calculating Infinity (1999), Miss Machine (2004), Ire Works (2007), Option Paralysis (2010) and One Of Us Is The Killer (2013).
In October of 2016 they will release their sixth studio album Dissociation. It includes production work by Kurt Ballou of Converge who mixed the record at GodCity in Boston.

They blast off 2017 with a huge January tour to promote their latest album Dissociation. This tour is vitally important as they will be going on hiatus following its completion.
