Incredible five-piece indie band D.I.D blend a huge amounts of differing influences, taking on aspects of jazz, rock, disco and even choir folk. The band are known for their humorous attitude which reflects in their eclectic music. The acronym standing for their full name Dog Is Dead which they have now shortened.
The band unites the talents of drummer Daniel Harvey, Joss Van Wilder on keys, guitar and accordion, Robert Howie Milton providing main vocals, guitarist Rob 'Paul Roberts' White and multi-instrumental bassist wonder Lawrence 'Trev' Cole.
They see the year out with a handful of exciting December dates. See them play at Shacklewell Arms on Friday 2nd and cool Nottingham club The Bodega Social on Saturday 3rd.

The Nottingham school friends formed the band whilst teenagers and began gigging seriously around 2008. Within a couple of years Dog Is Dead had produced their debut EP and were becoming firm festival favourites playing the likes of Splendour In Nottingham, Dot To Dot and even appeared on the BBC Introducing Stage at Glastonbury.
They once again entered the studio and their single Young benefitted from prominent airplay on BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music. Their debut album was released in 2012 and is entitled All Our Favourite Stories.
They made the decision to shorten the name in 2014 and the announcement came with new single Hotel.
