Unforgettable Performace
What a night, was a great experience. The venue which was an old court room was beautiful and I believe assisted in with the sound quality of the bands Xam Duo and Ex Easter Island Head, who play totally different styles of music but they so worked well together, Xam Duo with their fantastic electronic vibe and Ex Easter Island Head who were definitely guitar based with a twist, I have never seen guitars played like this before - all I can say about them is WOW, a total mind blowing experience, I felt like I'd been cleansed after hearing them, it was so beautiful. If you get chance to see either band, do it, you most definitely won't be disappointed. Thank you Neil Johnston and JT Soar for bringing these wonderfully, talented people to Nottingham

Ex-Easter Island Head + XAM Duo!, National Justice Museum, Nottingham - 23rd June 2023
Fantastic performance in an unusual venue!
I went to this performance blind, not knowing anything about this band.
I booked the tickets based on the description of the band.
I thought that they sounded interesting and it would be something I'd enjoy.
I didn't look them up on YouTube as I wanted to get my own first hand experience.
The performance was in the Victorian Court House in the Galleries of Justice, Nottingham.
There was no allocated seating so you sat wherever you wanted.
We chose to sit up on the balcony looking down on the band.
We had an excellent view and could see what each of the performers was contributing to the overall sound.
The sounds they created was just spine tingling and atmospheric!
It was a faultless performance throughout!
We was all well impressed!
My mate, who plays bass guitar, never imagined playing his bass in that way before and didn't realise it could be done! He's now tempted to try it out gor himself!
Fantastic evening and looking forward to seeing this band again in the future!
