Good day
Great day with good bands, would definitely go again . The only thing that let it down was there was no food for sale. If your there from half 1 till after 10 pm i think they should have food especially as there is a kitchen upstairs

Glasgow Blues, Rhythm & Rock Festival, Oran Mor, Glasgow - 28th April 2024
A great day and night of class vibes.
I came away from this festival with a smile .There's nothing to beat discovering and becoming a fan of artists you haven't heard before.
Thomas Atlas was pure class and I loved his version of Miss You.Met him afterwards and he's a really decent friendly boy.
I didn't know The Hiding Magpies at all.Wow! Their opener was an absolute barnstormer and they played a great set.Loved their energy and enthusiasm.
These Wicked Rivers appeared dressed like 19th Century American river boat gamblers and I thought to myself these boys better be good going to all that trouble with that look and stage set up.
They were excellent. Mind you when the guitarist cranks out Stranglehold prior to their set you know something good is coming.
Aynsley and his band were superb.Fantastic playing from the three of them and a cracking set.
I felt bit disappointed for them as by that time there wasn't that big a crowd and they warranted a packed out venue.
The only downside is that it was a long day and night and if you needed a meal or refreshments it meant having to leave the venue and miss a band. An hours intermission would have helped.
It was my 60th birthday. What a magic way to spend it with wonderful music.
Thanks to all the artists and the promoters.
We loved it!
