During his illustrious career Greg has achieved the milestone of directing or producing every single play in Shakespeare’s First Folio – with his collaborators including the most distinguished actors of our age, from Judi Dench to Patrick Stewart, Paterson Joseph to his late husband Antony Sher.
Among this number, David Tennant has proven himself time and again to be the leading Shakespearean actor of his generation. Starring in Greg’s landmark productions as Hamlet, Richard II, he found unexpected comedy in the Prince of Denmark and sympathy and pathos in the wastrel Richard – and delighted audiences, too, in the role of Berowne in Love’s Labour’s Lost.
