Great night!
The music was great! Loved the performances. Although it said doors to be opened at 6pm and they weren't until an hour later due to sound checks still happening and that was when the first act was suppose to start! There were no bag checks which I thought to be strange especially after the terror attacks that have gone on this year. The first act did not start until 9pm, so I was unsure of when the event would actually finish because I was concerned about transport to get home. Ziggy Marley was great but did not get to see his whole set which was a shame. He was the main reason I was going to this event. As he came on at 11:20pm I had to leave at 12:30 to get transport home. No one came on to apologise for set delays or what time the event would finish. Especially as on Facebook it stated it'd be 6pm-11pm. Plus marijuana was being smoked at the front row, how no one spotted this was strange, a lady told security, security spoke to the person but nothing was done about it as they continued to smoke it on and off throughout the whole night which a lot of the audience weren't happy about. Other than that, I loved the music, everyone was friendly and enjoyed myself :)

Ziggy Marley, Jesse Royal, Nasbeth, Indigo at The O2, London - 11th August 2017
Steel Pulse + The Skints + Adrian Sherwood
2 truly great bands that really complimented each other plus one of the greatest living reggae DJ's, great venue, fantastic sound system, great sound for both performances, good Jamaican food available, efficient and friendly bar staff. Tickets were cheap and arrived quickly. A brilliant evening of reggae music old and new that left me still feeling good the following day.
