Originally hailing from Birmingham, the band formed in 1970 and would become amongst the most important groups in history. Drawing on a wide range of influences that fused classical music with complex pop, Electric Light Orchestra would grow to become a dynamic musical force that came to both dominate the charts and thrill the critics.

Highly decorated, they have taken away a hoard of trophies and have been nominated for entry into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.

Lynne has also enjoyed success as co-founder of The Travelling Wilburys which also includes Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, George Harrison and Tom Petty. He has also produced and worked with the likes of The Beatles, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Joe Walsh, and most recently, Bryan Adams.
