Funny, charming and lovely performance
I've been listening to John Otway for about 20 years but never quite managed to get round to seeing him live. Finally remedied that in Grismby this week and had one of the best concert experiences I've had in ages. John and Willy are quite the characters and brought a lovely, playful and somewhat self-deprecating humour to the night. The banter and energy between them and also with the audience was lovely. I was bent double with laughter at times, as was my wife who I had dragged along under protest. The music was fab and funny. I really enjoyed a couple of his newer tracks that I'd never heard before too. Great night - will definitely see them again.
