Jonathan Wilson is an American musician and producer of significant note. An imaginative lyricist and exceptional guitarist who is friends to many a great, and is set to make a real name for himself.

Although his first album, Frankie Ray, was completed it was never formally released. However, success found him with the 2011 release of Gentle Spirit which hit #15 in the UK Indie Charts and earned him fourth place in Mojo magazine’s Best Albums Of The Year. The fantastic album contained collaborations with Barry Goldberg, Chris Robinson, Gary Louris, Andy Cabic, Otto Hauser, Josh Grange, Gary Mallaber, Z Berg, Adam McDougall and Johnathan Rice.

He was named New Artist Of The Year for 2011 by Uncut Magazine.

His follow up album Fanfare, released in 2013, saw Wilson continue to receive great accalamation seeing him rise to the higher position of #8 in the UK Indie Charts with both Uncut Magazine and Rolling Stone Germany declaring it their Album Of The Month.

An excellent producer, Wilson runs his very own recording studio Fivestar Studios which is located in Echo Park of Los Angeles and houses a fine array of analog recording equipment.
He has worked to produce some excellent records such as Father John Misty’s debut album Fear Fun, Jubilee by The Deep Dark Woods Roy Harper’s album Man and Myth and Conor Oberst’s Upside Down Mountain. Wilson has also collaborated closely with Bonnie Prince Billy on a series for the boutique 7” label Spiritual Pajamas. His talent as a producer, engineer and ability to collaborate with song writing duties marks him out as a highly sort after person to work with.
