Juan Wauters is a Uruguayan singer-songwriter and musician celebrated for his eclectic blend of folk, rock, and Latin influences. Born in Montevideo and later relocating to New York City, Wauters first gained attention as a member of the indie band The Beets.
His solo career took off with the release of his debut album, N.A.P. North American Poetry, in 2014, which showcased his whimsical, introspective songwriting and lo-fi aesthetic. Subsequent albums, including Who Me? (2015), La Onda de Juan Pablo (2019), and Real Life Situations (2021), have continued to explore his multicultural influences and personal narratives, earning him a dedicated following.
