Other outstanding awards include the Career Achievement Award issued by TNN Music Awards, International Entertainment Buyers Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award and the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award, given in 2013 by the Country Music Association Awards.
He has charted 120 hit singles over many various charts and genres, with such amazing songs including Islands In The Stream, Lady, Lucille, I Don’t Need You, Coward Of The Country, She Believes In Me, Don’t Fall In Love With A Dreamer and You Decorated My Life.
Rodgers announced his retirement and upcoming tour in 2015 on the NBC Today Show.
