Writer, actor, produced and renown comedian Louis C.K is one of the greats to come forth in this generation.
Real name Louis Székely, he began his career in stand-up comedy as a teenager in 1985. Adapted the name CK, as he believed people would be confused by his Hungarian name, he established himself as highly innovative and wildly entertaining which saw him requested to perform on such hit comedy shows as Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Lopez Tonight, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and Jimmy Kimmel Live!
The amazing comedian has seamlessly transferred from stage to screen having been seen on TV and film. He currently stars in Horace And Pete, a television drama he also writes and directs. He also works as executive producer, writer, director, editor and appears in his hit show Louie " now in its fifth series. Louis also works as co-writer and producer on ‘Baskets’ starring Zach Galifianakis and ‘Better Things’ starring Pamela Adlon. Louis is the executive producer for Amazon’s One ‘Mississippi’, a comedy based on the life of comedian Tig Notaro. He has also had a reoccurring part in cult comedy Parks & Recreation.
The award winning comedian has had 30 Emmy nominations attributed to his career so far, taking home the award six times including for Outstanding Writing For A Comedy Series for the series Louie, and Outstanding Writing For A Variety Special. Other awards include the American Comedy Award for “Comedy Special of the Year,” five Comedy Awards, four Writers Guild Awards, two Critics Choice Television Awards, two Television Critics Association Awards, two Grammy Awards, and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
