About Melt Banana

Japanese noise group Melt Banana have no comparison. Their unique fusion of hardcore-punk, noise-rock and electronica has earned them a global cult following. Formed in 1992, the band is led by Yasuko Onuki (vocals) and Ichiro Agata (guitars, effects). Their back catalogue includes Speak Squeak Creak (1994), Cactuses Come in Flocks (1994), Scratch or Stitch (1995), Charlie (1998), Teeny Shiny (2000), Cell-Scape (2003), Bambi's Dilemma (2007) and Fetch (2013).

Brilliant as usual

Dynamic, loud, tuneful, noisy and unique. Always a smile on the face pleasure from start to finish. Superb guitar and effects, and vocals to match. Still leading the way with a style of their own which they have crafted and perfected over the years.
