About Michael Schenker

German rock guitarist Michael Schenker is famed for having shredded with the likes of hard rock bands UFO and Scorpions.

He leads the Michael Schenker Group which consists of Bodo Schopf (drums), Steve Mann (keys, rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Ronnie Romero (lead vocals) and Barend Courbois (bass).

Michael Schenker Group write and record prolifically, and their latest album Universal dropped in 2022.

Excellent show by MSG

O2 Shepherds Bush probably one of my favourite venues - a good view from almost everywhere. Then MSG produce an excellent show covering old to new material - the band seemed to enjoy themselves and so did the audience !

From the moment it opened with Captain Nemo and through armed and ready and a selection of UFO classics, he was in top guitar form and I knew all the words and happily lost my voice by the end.
