Formed after meeting at university in Bristol, My First Time are a four-piece made up of friends Isaac (lead vocals/guitar), Jordanna (drums), James (guitar/vocals) and Naia (bass/vocals). Drawing inspiration from the everyday, inner-city observations of The Streets and Parklife-era Blur alongside the sharp pop dynamism of Marina, the band combine wit, urgency and personality in equal measure. Their songs are rooted in lived experience, giving voice to modern anxieties with humour, bite and confidence.
Musically, My First Time deliver a punchy blend of new-school punk, thrashy pop and twisted guitar riffs, pairing high-energy arrangements with character-driven songwriting and satirical social commentary. Tracks such as “Man Of Ill Repute,” “Brand New,” “Much Better,” “Bodybag,” “Sippy Cup” and “Picture Of Health” showcase a band unafraid to be bold, confrontational and fun all at once. Along the way, they have earned support from tastemakers including Apple Music’s Matt Wilkinson, BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders and BBC 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq, marking them out as a band with a distinctive voice and plenty to say.
Ticket prices may vary depending on venue and location. Full pricing details are available on each individual event page.
