About Natives

You need to know cool indie band Natives. Each show is a stunning masterclass in performance.

Natives tickets are on sale with Gigantic right now. With the tantalising prospect of a second album on the way, they have announced an upcoming tour which takes them to Waterfront Studio at Norwich, O2 Academy3 Birmingham, The Bodega at Nottingham and O2 Academy2 Newcastle during May and The Camden Assembly in London during June.

Their band members include drummer Andy White, guitarist Jack Fairbrother who also plays keys, singer Jim Thomas and Greg Day on bass.

Initially formed by school friends White, Day and Fairbrother, the band started as jamming sessions before working under the name Not Advised. As time went on and the band developed they felt like a change was needed and so adopted the now familiar name of Natives before jetting off to LA to record their debut album.

With platinum selling producer John Feldmann (Singer/Guitarist for Goldfinger) at the helm, Natives first record Indoor War was released in 2014. Somewhat of a concept album, the record is the account of fictional character Alvima having to deal with immense emotional pain and loss.

They made their first release after being in the studio for a significant amount of time at the beginning of 2016. The single Chasing Lions was welcomed by critics and fans as a worthy return for the band. It was followed by the songs Stop The Rain and Passion.
