The Reytons are the new generation of indie rock. The swaggering South Yorkshire band shot to fame with the release of their debut album Kids Off the Estate which immediately smashed into the Top 20, announcing the arrival of a new sensation echoing the glory days of Britpop.

It’s been a big year for the boys, having kicked off 2023 with the release of their No. 1 album What’s Rock and Roll?, a huge summer of festivals right across Europe including Y Not and Truck Festival, and just about to head out on tour.

They have just announced a very special hometown show taking place at Clifton Park in Rotherham on Saturday 6th July. Tickets are soon to be released by Gigantic – CLICK HERE  to set your event reminder!

Inspired by the attitude of Oasis and the style of Arctic Monkeys, Rotherham-based lads Jonny Yerrell (vocals), Joe O'Brien (lead guitar), Lee Holland (bass) and Jamie Todd (drum) formed boisterous indie band The Reytons in 2017.

Remaining true to their working-class roots, their songs speak of rock and roll romanticism and everyday life chimed with audiences throughout the North, reaching dedicated fans all around the UK.

Such a devoted following enabled them to independently release their debut album Kids Off the Estate towards the end of 2021 with zero label backing. The fusion of post-punk and anthemic indie captured the imagination of listeners who sent it to No. 11 in the charts.

Having seen the crowd size swell with each show, The Reytons knew that second record What’s Rock and Roll? was going to be well received. They were thrilled to see it top the charts upon release during January 2023.

They celebrate the massive achievement by returning to where it all began. See The Reytons play a huge hometown show at Clifton Park in Rotherham next summer!

Tickets are released at 10:00 on Friday 6th October. CLICK HERE to set an event reminder with Gigantic and to check the details of our payment plan, enabling you to cut the cost into easily managed monthly instalments.
