Shrewsbury Folk Festival 2024 – West Midlands Showground, Shrewsbury (23rd – 26th August 2024)

Shrewsbury Folk Festival Tickets

Varied and Inspirational

With artists we knew and many we didn't, there was an incredible choice. Many surprises and lots of delightful moments.

The festival is really well organised with good facilities and it is kept clean. Volunteers are friendly and efficient. It feels safe so people can enjoy the music, dance and join in with things.

We saw amongst other amazing acts Bella Hardy, Kathryn Tickell & The Darkening, Gangstagrass, Ranagri, Ladysmith, AJ Clarke, The Folk Ballets' superb spellbinding performance, Joshua Burnell, Ellie Brooks… and we enjoyed learning medieval dance and some good food and wonderful ales.

Busted (LIVE IN SOMERSET 2024) – Vivary Park, Taunton (26th August 2024)

BUSTED

Just brilliant!

What a brilliant evening!

All of the acts were great (Soap & Callum Beattie were awesome) but Busted definitely rounded off a great time. We were very happy to witness they were still playing at a top level and very interactive with us all, as that means a lot to so many people.

My fiancé has dreamt of seeing and enjoying a live Busted gig for twenty years and was not disappointed but has been let down by other acts in the past.

Thanks Gigantic. We will be gigging up our lives more after this experience.

P.S. Plus, we get to Vanlife travel more so very happy campers

Wild Fields – Earlham Park, Norwich (16th August 2024)

WILD FIELDS

Wild Fields Rockz 🎵🎤🎶

Hats off to all organisers and crew, WOW! These guys know how to put a festival on.

With an awesome line-up, pop-up food stalls, fantastic bars, bit of merchandising, face painting, beautiful festival goers and a superb mix of artists and acts, with diversity for all genres this for me and all goers. I danced and chatted with an amazing two days of music porn.

I await the next and, at a guess, even better event live music experience put on by Wild Fields!

A family of music, with a body of soul…

If you’re a lover of music or a musician, look out for the next gig, it’s gonna be stompin’!

All roads lead to Wild Fields!

Peace Y’all ✌🏻

The The – Waterfront, Norwich (22nd August 2024)

THE THE TICKETS

Warm up in Norwich

If there is a more charismatic frontman/songwriter in this genre of music, then please let me know. Matt Johnson and his marvellous band rocked The Waterfront in Norwich with a fabulous selection of old favourites and new songs from the forthcoming Ensoulment album.

Matt quipped "it's the best album from The The in the last 25 years!" We await with much anticipation but judging by the tasters so far, the intelligence, passion and old fire is still there in profusion.

Packed to the rafters, it was one of those gigs that will live long in the memory. Thank you for bringing your inspirational talents to Norwich and big congratulations to the promoters and venue.
