Joe Hisaishi - Hisaishi Symphonic - Royal Albert HallLondon (Saturday 23rd November 2024)

Joe Hisaishi

AMAZING MOMENT!

[Translated from Japanese]

I am truly grateful to have been able to witness such a wonderful moment. I had booked tickets 10 months in advance, so I had high expectations and was very excited, but when I went there, it was even more amazing than I could have imagined.

The venue, the Royal Albert Hall, is also really nice and I'm moved just by being there. There are very few orchestral concerts that the whole family can enjoy, including children and babies, even in the evening performances. I also brought my 11-year-old son there, and he was so happy that it was so good ♪

I would like to go again if there is a Ghibli concert by Joe Hisaishi.

Champagne For Lulu - Brighton Dome (Tuesday 12th November 2024)

A NIGHT TO REMEMBER & TREASURE FOREVER

What a spectacular and memorable evening that I will never forget. To be a part of Lulu's final tour is something that myself and dad will treasure forever.

It was a very emotional, powerful and spine tingling show which even included some goosebumps. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole event from the moment we arrived till we left.

Thoroughly loved how the show was run including wonderful videography which was on the screen behind the stage. I also loved the way that the second half of the set had a party feeling with everyone out of their seats having a dance with Lulu. Could tell that she was thoroughly enjoying herself and taking in every aspect of her performance.

The Cult 8424 - 40th Anniversary - Royal Albert HallLondon (Monday 4th November 2024)

FANTASTIC!

I've been a fan of The Cult since the late 80s but for some reason never got around to seeing them. Well, all I can say is that it was well worth the wait - they were absolutely awesome! The best rock gig I've been to in years.

To see them after all this time and in my favourite venue the RAH, was something very special. Needless to say I won't be waiting that long to see them again!

Elles Bailey - Oran Mor, Glasgow (Saturday 16th November 2024)

ONE OF THOSE NIGHTS YOU ONLY GET IN SMALLER VENUES

I've seen Elles so many times now, and it's always the same quality of performance. She's a star on the rise, and hopefully she achieves what her talent deserves.

We had highest quality musicianship, great singing and fantastic songs, a bit of chat which doesn't seem contrived, and everyone seemed to enjoy it, including the band. Anyone who's been to see one of the shows can't help but enjoy it. On this occasion, the entire bill was great and fit well together. Demi Marriner deserves her own spotlight, and her part alongside Elles in the band is superb too. Ida Mae did what they did in superb fashion too.

The likes of Oran Mor, St Lukes, King Tuts, The Garage and all the other wee venues are a godsend for the gig goer, where we can get close enough, and still create a decent atmosphere for the artists. A great night had by all, and anybody who didn't have a good time, well, the problem is with them, not Elles Bailey and the band.

Sunny Sweeney - The DrillLincoln (Wednesday 13th November 2024)

THE VERY BEST FEMALE COUNTRY ARTIST RIGHT NOW

Sunny Sweeney should be a superstar. She's immensely talented, her voice cuts through the heart and she's f***ing hilarious. She's lovely and very friendly and personable.

This is the best live performance I've ever seen and I suspect she can do much much better. If you love country music, you want to listen to her. I'm considering going to see her again this week, that's how amazing she is.
