The Pretenders - Glasshouse International Centre for Music, Gateshead (Thursday 17th October 2024)
FANFLIPPINTASTIC!
What a performance! The Pretenders were brilliant!
Chrissie still has it - her voice sounded perfect and she looked great - each band member was absolutely amazing.
We had such a fabulous night. I go to a lot of gigs and this was the best by far in a very long time.

Steve Hackett Genesis Greats - Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow (Friday 18th October 2024)
A MASTERCLASS OF MUSICIANSHIP
At 74, you'd forgive Steve Hackett for putting his feet up and resting on his considerable laurels. Far from it though, he has embarked on another long tour where he delivers over 2 1/2 hours of music from his extensive catalogue, with all the skill you'd expect from a man of his experience, but with more energy than a host of players half his age.
Furthermore, he has brought together a band that complimented and matched his abilities, each of whom is given their own time in the spotlight, with Mr Hackett revelling in their work. If you're a fan of Progressive Rock, this was a masterclass.

The Dualers - Beach Life Tour - The Engine Shed, Lincoln (Friday 18th October 2024)
FANTASTIC SHOW
This was our first time at a Dualers concert. We've been listening to their music for about a year now. But the show was something else.
Usually when you see a band live it doesn't always sound the same as listening to the CD where all the sounds are mixed to perfection.
These lads were spot on. You could close your eyes and listen and you would think they were miming to a CD. An absolutely fantastic show and we will definitely be booking to see them again soon.

Seth Lakeman , Metronome Nottingham, Nottingham - 11th October 2024
BRILLIANT AS USUAL
Although Seth is a bigger name now, he still likes to play intimate gigs with only a few hundred die-hard fans and a super atmosphere.
My partner and I have seen him 30 times, solo and with a band. Lots of different locations, festivals etc, and we always have had value for money. The Metronome is a very neat hall, small but well-run, we would go again as and when any of our favourites appear there.
