Indie icon Richard Ashcroft rose to fame as the frontman of The Verve, penning such colossal anthems as "Bitter Sweet Symphony" and No. 1 hit single "The Drugs Don't Work". Currently riding solo, the Ivor Novello Award-winning songwriter continues to impress, releasing platinum-selling albums Alone with Everybody and Keys to the World.

Now, Ashcroft is announced as a headliner for Kew The Music which hits the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew next summer. Tickets have just been released by Gigantic.

Presenter of BBC’s popular horticulture show Gardener’s World, Monty Don is the green fingered national treasure with an unlimited knowledge of plants. Kew The Music: An Evening In Conversation With Monty Don gives you the chance to benefit from the celebrity gardener’s expert knowledge as he discusses his passion for potting.

Monty will be telling anecdotes from his 30-year career as well as giving advice. He also describes how he created his beautiful garden at Longmeadow and how plants improve human wellbeing.

The Undertones

Formed in 1974 and originally led by Feargal Sharkey, the Northern Irish group The Undertones set the template for pop punk with such high energy songs as "Here Comes the Summer", “Jimmy Jimmy”, "My Perfect Cousin" and “Teenage Dreams”.

Touring in 2024 and not to be missed, The Undertones will be playing all the hits on a stage near you. Special guests include Ruts D.C. and The Rezillos.

Nik Kershaw

The 80s popstar announces new headline shows

Veteran pop rocker Nik Kershaw is a defining sound of the 80s, scoring eight Top 40 singles including "Wouldn't It Be Good" and "I Won't Let the Sun Go Down on Me". Kershaw also reached platinum sales with albums Human Racing and The Riddle.

Revisit his classic hits on the 1984 Tour, when Kershaw plays songs from his best-selling records. He has also announced three new shows at O2 Academy Oxford, Epic Studios in Norwich, and Roadmender Northampton in the new year.
