Independent Venue Week hits the UK from 29th January to 4th February 2024 – and Gigantic Tickets are a proud partner of the seven-day celebration of independently run arts and music spaces.

The Castle
Lively Luton pub boasting awesome live music
The Castle is a busy pub and live music venue found in the heart of Luton. In addition to the countless local acts who have played there, it regularly hosts many world-class acts and cutting-edge artists including recent performances from Lauran Hibbard, Do Nothing and Thomas Truax.
Independent Venue Week events at The Castle include shows by Dois Padres appearing on Wednesday 31st January, Sean Grant & The Wolfgang playing Thursday 1st February, Seething Akira on Friday 2nd February and Scruffy Bear on Saturday 3rd February.
Plus, a Music Quiz Night on Tuesday 30th January.
Cambridge Junction / Cambridge Junction 2
The radical art and music venue
Live music and arts venue Cambridge Junction opened in 1990 and has expanded over the years to include extra rooms including Cambridge Junction 2. Dedicated to providing radical, inclusive, and engaging shared experiences – it has a fantastic reputation far and wide as a perfect gig spot.
Catch Personal Trainer on Wednesday 31st January and Mr Wilson’s Second Liners on Saturday 3rd February as part of Independent Venue Week.
Waterfront
The student ran venue open to all
Waterfront is a leading club and gig venue in Norwich. Managed by the Union of UEA Students, entry is open to everyone and has seen performances from such greats as Pulp, Radiohead, Nirvana, and Arctic Monkeys.
2023 Heavy Metal Music Award-winners As December Falls will smash it at Waterfront on Wednesday 31st January and DJ Yoda brings the beats on Thursday 1st February.
The Portland Arms
Cambridge pub and gig venue!
Traditional English pub The Portland Arms transforms into a hotspot for exciting live music performances and shows. Recent gigs include such essential acts as Talk Show, Speech Debelle, and Ché Aimee Dorval. Look forward to appearances from the mind-bending TVAM on Thursday 1st February and Chappaqua Wrestling playing Saturday 3rd February.
