I thought that there was so much about Out and Wild that was excellent and I had a fab time. Great atmosphere, walks and wild swimming at the top of the list. Loved the emphasis on wellbeing and the setting is awesome. There are areas that I think could be improved: when we arrived as first timers we weren't given any information except where to park, no trolleys were available, it could easily have been organised to let us drive down safely to where we were camping to unload and then park, after a 7.5 hour journey lugging our gear in trolleys was exhausting. I appreciate trying to be green but with issues re charging phones a paper schedule would have been great. The booking system didn't work very well and having to turn up at the desk at 10am really interrupted the flow of the day and there were often long queues. TBH I don't have the answer as to how best to arrange the booking. Long queues to get coffee, food and alcohol- more vendors needed. Similarly would be great to have more stalls to have a mooch round, would be great to have local artisans selling their crafts. Appreciate the phenomenal work that goes into putting on such an event so all comments are made within that context. As a suggestion given the amazing birds in the area it would be fab if you could find someone to do a bird walk 😀 Looking forward to next year! xx
