Indie singer-songwriter Phosphorescent (real name Matthew Houck) explores the alternative side of rock, pop, and folk. Originally performing under the moniker Fillup Shack, he released the Hipolit LP in 2000 before changing to the now-familiar stage name and releasing his A Hundred Times or More record in 2003.
Phosphorescent has now released eight albums, including the latest title Revelator (2024).
