ROLY PORTER PRESENTS THIRD LAW LIVE AT LONDON’S CORSICA STUDIOS
Fresh from releasing his third album and debut album for Tri-Angle Records, Roly Porter’s ‘Third Law’ has been lauded by critics far and wide and he presents the album live for the first time live at London’s Corsica Studios on Wednesday 27th April.
Roly’s music isn’t about ‘day to day’ life. Instead it’s an opportunity for him to think about ‘larger’ things outside his personal experience, which in turn has had profound impact on how Roly is able to see his own life and that of others around him.
Third Law combines everything Roly loved and missed about producing sound-system music, with the more compositional ideas he began to explore on his solo work.
The album is Roly coming to terms with his goal of leaving dance music as it is, free to explore ideas of rhythm, bass, sound design within his own world and his ideas on Third Law will be brought to life on Corsica Studio’s impeccable sound system.
