Great show
They just keep getting better. Master stroke to play their own support. Great to hear the different combinations of players. Cormac is a good addition to the line up.

Show of Hands, Union Chapel, London - 22nd November 2019
SoH do it again!
Show of Hands transcend the description "Folk". The sheer variety of material is testament to that.
On this occasion they "self supported", full line up began with "The Train/Blackwaterside" followed by various combinations for the remainder of the first half. Blues, ballads and Irish tunes.
Second half began with "I will haunt you" which some will know from Seth Lake man's version. The four piece did full justice to the set with Cormac Byrne's percussion bringing a new dimension. Finishing with old favourites "Santiago" "Cousin Jack" and "The Galway Farmer" they still had time for a grand encore of "Lost" from the current album "Battlefield Dance Floor" Catch them on this tour if you can.
