Any booking & delivery fees will be included in the first payment. Your ticket total must be at least £20.00 to use the payment plan for this event.

Privacy Policy We will not pass on your details to third parties. Shrewsbury Folk Festival will only use your email address to send festival updates i.e., artists booked, who is on which day, links to tickets, arrival times, car parking, maps, camping details and child and youth activities etc. We’d love to keep you up to date with the latest festival news so please make sure you check this option when you buy tickets. You will miss important information if you skip this option.

Venues Our festival has a mixture of open-air outside stages and open sided marquees. You’ll need to bring your own chairs and picnic blankets. Please check out our Information and FAQs page for any other questions.

Opening Times 

Gates open for Thursday camping from 15:00-18:00

Gates open for Friday camping from 07:00

Gates open for day ticket holders at 12:00 on Friday and at 09:00 on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Concert finish times 00:00 *except on Monday when it’s approximately 18:00*.

Tickets Your automated E Ticket should be with you within 30 minutes of ordering. You’ll need to show your E Ticket, complete with bar code, on arrival. If your email doesn’t arrive within 30 minutes, please get in touch with Gigantic Tickets at customerservices@gigantic.com or give them a call on 0115 807 7900. Please check your junk folder first though! Weekend wristband colours will indicate if you are entitled to camp or not so please make sure you book the correct tickets. We have a 3 tier weekend ticket system which is the fairest system we can adopt. As always, the earlier you buy your tickets, the cheaper they are. Each tier has a limited number of tickets and when they’re gone, they’re gone so please book early! When tier 1 tickets sell out the price will automatically change to tier 2 and so on.

Car Parking - For non campers Parking costs £5 per day or £15 for the weekend. These charges apply to vehicles parked in our car park (not camping pitches).

WEEKEND TICKETS are valid from Friday to Monday inclusive.

Family ticket options (with or without camping) 

2 adults and 2 children 5-10 yrs 

2 adults and 1 child 5-10 yrs and 1 youth 11-17 yrs 

2 adults and 2 youths 11-17 yrs

All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

Concessionary tickets (adult weekend tickets only) Day concession tickets are not available. Prices are tiered and like all other tickets, when they’re gone they’re gone. Concession tickets are for people aged 65+ (men & women), full time students or people in receipt of the below benefits.

• Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
• Personal Independence Payment (PIP)

Proof of eligibility will be required at the festival or the full price will be charged.

Carer tickets (adult weekend tickets only) If you require a carer to attend the festival to assist you, then one discounted carer ticket can be purchased. Carer tickets cost £100 or £135 including camping and are not tiered. Thursday camping tickets (if available) can be purchased at the standard rate (£25). A discounted carer ticket is provided on the expectation that your carer is willing and able to assist you throughout your visit and will be available to help you in the event of an evacuation.

To qualify you need to be in receipt of one of these Carer's Credits.

• Disability Living Allowance - middle or highest rate of the care component
• Attendance Allowance
• Constant Attendance Allowance
• Personal Independence Payment daily living part
• Armed Forces Independence Payment
• Child Disability Payment (CDP) middle or highest rate of the care component

Buying souvenir programmes - Souvenir programmes are only available to order if you live in the UK.

Camping

Thursday Camping To reduce the number of people arriving on site at the same time on Friday morning, we offer a limited number of Thursday camping tickets at £25 per adult. Arrival is only permitted between 15:00 and 18:00. You are not allowed to save space for friends arriving on Friday. If you wish to camp together, you will need to meet up offsite before arriving. This ticket is in addition to the normal weekend camping ticket. Please note entertainment does not start until Friday afternoon.

Weekend Camping There are camping and non-camping options for adult, concession, carer, family and youth weekend tickets. If you need to add camping tickets to an existing weekend ticket order you can only do so by emailing Gigantic Tickets at customerservices@gigantic.com quoting your order reference number. Camping is not available as a stand-alone ticket or with day tickets. Camping costs £35 per adult and is available for weekend ticket holders only.

Child and Youth tickets and camping for the under 18s All 0-17 yrs tickets are priced according to age (0-4 yrs go free). Camping is free for everyone aged 0-10 yrs and does not need to be booked. Youth 11-17 yrs camping costs £15, available with weekend tickets only. Under no circumstances will youths be permitted entrance to Shrewsbury Folk Festival without adult accompaniment. Wristband colours will indicate if youths are entitled to camp or not so please make sure you book the correct tickets. N.B. if camping is required the adult must camp with, or next to, the youth’s camping pitch. If you think your age will be questioned, please bring personal identification. ALL UNDER 18s MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.

This Payment Plan allows you to pay for your ticket(s) over 10 instalments. Any booking & delivery fees will be included in the first payment.
Your ticket total must be at least £20.00 to use the payment plan for this event, otherwise you should book your tickets here.

Payment Plan FAQs:

What if I miss a payment?

If a payment gets rejected you will be sent an email to inform you. This email contains instructions to change the card on your payment plan should you need to, which will enable you to make the missed payment, and stay within the payment plan.

Any outstanding payments will be attempted again during your next installment date.

Can I get a refund?

No, as stated when you place an order all tickets are sold on a strictly non-refundable basis.

Can I pay early?

No, all payments must be made as per the payment plan schedule you agree to upon purchase.

Can I change my tickets?

No, once an order has been placed, tickets cannot be changed. Take extra care to make sure you only order the tickets you actually want.

What if my card expires?

If your card expires you’ll need to wait for an email stating your payment has been rejected. You should then follow the link on that email to update your card details and pay off the due amount, any remaining payments will be debited from your new card.

Can I cancel my payment plan?

If you decide you no longer wish to attend the event, you can cancel a payment plan in your account or inform us in writing 7 days prior to an upcoming payment date that you wish to cancel your order. We will then cease to take any remaining payments. Please note you will NOT be entitled to a refund of any previous payments.
