About Slaves (US)
Sacramento post-hardcore band SL▲VES enjoy a dedicated and loyal fan base in the UK, drawn to their dynamic song structure and incendiary live shows. The band is somewhat of a supergroup as it unites lead vocalist Jonny Craig formerly of Emarosa and Dance Gavin Dance with Colin Viera of Musical Charis.
With the exciting prospect of a new album to be released in 2017, SL▲VES will be making a rare return to the UK for what will be blisteringly hot live shows. See them perform at Bristol Thekla on Saturday 25th, iconic Nottingham venue Rock City on Tuesday 28th and Sound Control in mighty Manchester on Thursday 30th of March, 2017.
Slaves tickets will soon become available. Launched at 10:00 on Wednesday 26th of October, right now you can set a personal reminder through Gigantic to arrive via email or text message so you are ready for their release.
The band was announced to the world through Twitter during January of 2014 and work on debut album Through Art We Are All Equals was quickly started. Featuring guest vocals from the likes of Kyle Lucas, Tyler Carter of Issues, Vic Fuentes from Pierce The Veil, plus Craig's sister Natalie Craig, the record hit #53 in the Billboard 200.
“Men have been enslaving men for as long as we’ve had gods to hide behind. Every man is a slave to what we love - whether it be women, drugs, music or sports. Through art we are all equals. ” - Jonny Craig
This was followed in 2015 by second album Routine Breathing which was promoted by prominent festival appearances.
Slaves concert tickets are in limited supply and given their rare appearances in the UK we expect them to sell very quickly. Ensure you book early or risk missing out entirely. Always make Gigantic your first choice for the very best gig tickets!
