About STRANGE WAVES V
In the darkest depths of the lockdown, this is what we dreamed about - showcasing the creators of the year’s finest music, all in one venue, all on one day.
We are beyond excited to announce the line-up for Strange Waves V.
Dry Cleaning
Since releasing their debut album on 4AD, Dry Cleaning have continued to win fans and acclaim en masse for their surreal, relatable snapshots of everyday neurosis. Prepare to dance, laugh and revel in the minutiae.
Sunflower Bean
Exquisite indie-pop trio, back with a new track ‘baby don’t cry’ and in the UK for their first dates since 2018.
Iceage
Now Wave O.Gs play their first Manchester show since releasing the vivid and intoxicating, Seek Shelter.
W.H Lung
Their debut, Incidental Music was Piccadilly Records' choice album of 2019. Sophomore effort, Vanities is dancier, trippier and will surely push for similar honours in 2021.
The Lounge Society
Speedy Wunderground faves and the best new band in Yorkshire - which is no small feat, these days!
We’ll be announcing more bands as the event gets closer.
