About Tax The Heat

Tax The Heat are the future sound of British blues rock. They have accrued a huge fanbase and are regularly cited by critics as the next big thing.

Following the release of their debut album Fed To The Lions, they now hit the road ready to blow away audiences everywhere. Make sure you catch them when they play at Portland Arms in Cambridge, infamous Leeds venue Brudenell Social Club and The Cavern at Exeter during December 2018.

The Bristol band formed in 2012 and quickly amassed a loyal listenership, drawn to their unique take on classic rock and roll.

During 2015 the band released their two critically acclaimed singles Fed The Lions and Highway Home (both of which were playlisted across rock radio - A listed on Planet Rock) the band have cemented their live reputation by supporting the likes of Cadillac 3, Reef, The Graveltones, Black Star Riders, Masters Of Reality, Virginmarys and Thunder and festival appearances such as 2000 Trees, Download and Calling. The bands unique blend of classic blues driven rock with a modern alternative twist winning them a legion of fans.

They have now signed to superb heavy German label Nuclear Blast (home to acts such as Blues Pills, Black Star Riders & Crobot) who have released their awesome debut album Fed To The Lions.
