About The 1234 Festival
The 1234 Festival takes its name from the four stages of innovative and original artists that make up this magnificent event. This year plays host to such massive names as The Cribs, The Jesus And Mary Chain, Spector plus Carl Barat & The Jackals play at Three Mills Island, London, on Saturday 3rd of September.
The now legendary festival was the must-attend event for the serious music fan. Bringing together cult favourites with cutting edge new talent, 1234 is famous for first showcasing names now ubiquitous such as Crystal Fighters and Florence and The Machine.
The festival headliners include lofi indie legends The Cribs and original shoegaze sensations The Jesus And Mary Chain.
Also make sure you check out surf psych stars The Wytches, renowned post punk band Gang Of Four, the ever intriguing Toy and Libertines frontman’s other band Carl Barat & The Jackals.
Other amazing acts chosen from the underground to perform include Virgin Kids, Love Buzzard, Milk Teeth, Nova Twins, Claw Marks, Telegram, Blinders, Phobophobes plus American bands Nancy Pants and No Joy.
There will be special guest DJ performances throughout the day from D/R/U/G/S, Gary The Tall from NTS Radio plus Jim Scalvunos from Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and Grinderman.
Now located at The Mills Island in Bow, the festival is beautifully situated amongst the rivers and the stages will be housed be fantastic funfair style big tops. With secret sessions and surprise special guests playing throughout the day the event will be a joy to explore.
With street food stalls and well stocked bars all brought together in the uniquely attractive urban environment the festival promises to be a real treat for all attending.
