About The Corrs

The Corrs are an Irish folk-rock band consisting of siblings Andrea, Sharon, Caroline, and Jim Corr, known for their captivating harmonies and a unique blend of traditional Irish music with contemporary pop and rock influences. Formed in 1990, the band rose to international fame in the late 1990s with their debut album, Forgiven, Not Forgotten (1995), featuring hits like “Runaway” and “Breathless.” Their music often incorporates traditional Irish instruments, such as the fiddle and tin whistle, creating a distinctive sound that resonates with a diverse audience.


Throughout their career, The Corrs have released several successful albums, including Talk on Corners (1997) and In Blue (2000), achieving both critical and commercial acclaim. Their live performances are renowned for their energetic and engaging nature, as they have played at major venues and festivals worldwide, including Glastonbury and the Royal Albert Hall. After a brief hiatus, the band returned to the music scene with new material, showcasing their evolution while remaining true to their roots. With their enchanting melodies and heartfelt lyrics, The Corrs continue to be a beloved presence in the music industry, celebrated for their contributions to both pop and folk music.
