Fusing dream pop with shoegaze; Welsh band The Joy Formidable have relocated to London and includes band members Rhiannon "Ritzy" Bryan (lead vocals, guitar), Rhydian Dafydd (bass, backing vocals) and Matthew James Thomas (drums).

Rising from indie outsiders to enjoy international acclaim, the trio have released five records including The Big Roar (2011), Wolf's Law (2013), Hitch (2016), AAARTH (2018) and Into the Blue (2021).
