Fantastic performance
Our tickets arrived quickly (and after several hrs searching the internet "Gigantic" had the best seats) The Mavericks were absolutely amazing and very entertaining...never seen anyone rock a squeezebox before. They interacted with their audience as well before & after the show, shaking hands & taking selfies with people. They also sang happy birthday to 1 avid fan which was lovely and sang another song in memory of all the people who were killed by gunfire, which apparently they do at every concert to continue the awareness of guns. Although you could hear a pin drop, it didn't dampen the mood at all....the song was sung beautifully so big thumbs up for that gesture. The place was a bit dated, but hey "it's an old building!" The place was easy to find & we got parked easily (although we did get there mega early) Only downsides were, the bar/drinks were expensive & the car park was £7. I had some questions regarding the venue so I checked the FAQ's....nothing! So I tried to contact "The Manchester Apollo" to ask my questions...the number listed takes you to ticket master which was no help at all.
Overall a fantastic time, the atmosphere was great with most people up dancing... we were on such a high our 2hr journey home, singing to Mavericks cd all the way.
