Beatlemania
I thought that much of Pet Sounds did not come over well - the audience were talking through much of it and it was probably too ambitious to try to reproduce the complex harmonies of PS - I doubt the Beach Boys ever tried too hard! That said God only Knows and Good Vibrations were superb.
On the other hand Sgt Pepper was 100 per cent magnificent - the performance was obviously loved by the audience and the band also appeared to be enjoying playing Sgt P. much more

Impressive
Performances of this quality can only be achieved with months of hardwork.
Fitting the elements, singers, strings, horns and percussion was masterful. The genius of the Beatles deserves performance of this quality.
