About This Wild Life

This Wild Life are they very best acoustic pop punk band. The superb two piece includes lead vocalist Kevin Jordan sharing guitars with Anthony Del Grosso who also plays drums and provides backing vocals.

The pair began working together in 2010 having both been drummers playing in the Long Beach, California, area after meeting whilst working together in a local music store and bonding over a shared interest in punk, hardcore and screamo.

The first incarnation of the band saw them work as a conventional four-piece with an electric guitar sound. In 2011 they self-released the album Pop Shove It and enjoyed modest success in their immediate area.

However, the two knew they were yet to discover their sound and set about a radical re-evaluation of their method. The reinvention saw them come back as an acoustic based pair, shredding the surplus members and electric guitars. Inspired by their drastic changes, they threw themselves into their creative endeavour dedicating all to song writing which resulted in their second self-release Heart Flip in 2012.

They were soon to enjoy a massive positive reaction from audiences who enjoyed the stripped down sound and their name began to expand past their immediate area which saw the band sign to infamous punk and hardcore label Epitaph.

With label backing the band released the record Clouded in 2014 and hit the road to join the Vans Warped Tour.
