About Trash Talk
Hardcore punk outfit Trash Talk lead a ferocious charge whenever they play. Bringing the big beats and crazed screams, their huge wall of sound never fails to excite as they destroy everything in their path.
Following the self-release of their EP Tangle last year, they make their return to the UK to play high octane exciting upcoming headline shows. See them play Newcastle Think Tank, The Flapper at Birmingham, Bristol Exchange and Komedia in Brighton during March, 2017.
Trash Talk tickets are available through Gigantic right now so ensure you book yours before they are all gone.
Formed in 2005, Trash Talk were quick to get into the studio and recorded a number of tracks and EPs which were compiled into the record Walking Diseases.
They truly announced their arrival in the scene two years later with the release of eponymously titled debut album Trash Talk recorded with Steve Albini. Subsequent albums include Eyes & Nines, 119 and their latest release; No Peace.
“The bleakness feels more panoramic than before, and when it zooms inward, it tap into reservoirs of power that Trash Talk are only beginning to explore.” - Pitchfork
“It’s hard not to get swept up in this record. Its pain is exhilarating. A rush. Loud for the sake of loud is all well and good, but No Peace feels more important. This record is the sight of your own blood that spurs on one last grasp at survival.” - The Line Of Best Fit
Their band members currently include guitarists David Gagliardi and Garrett Stevenson with Lee Spielman taking on vocals and Spencer Pollard playing bass.
