Non stop adrenaline rush
The gig started with a great set from The Suffers, a band worth the ticket price in their own right. I hadn’t seen Trombone Shorty before and wondered how he would top the support. I needn’t have worried. Non stop , fast and funky from the off. The pace never slackened .TS is a very charismatic performer. He sang, played Trombone and Trumpet and was a real star. He gave his band members numerous chances to shine, with solos and musical battles. The Alto sax player even did a break dance ! The crowd really engaged with him and I would say this was the most enjoyable gig I have attended this year . I can’t wait to see him again.

Outstanding performance!!
This really has the most remarkable musical talent that I have heard in a very long time!
And as ever he had his amazing band with him! Each number bought a surprise.....ranging from trad jazz to the hardest funk fusion! Can't wait til he returns to the UK!
