Glasgow's Walt Disco, are set to release their second album, "The Warping," on June 14th via Lucky Number. Following the success of their debut album, "Unlearning," the band's latest single, "You Make Me Feel So Dumb," offers a taste of the album's dynamic energy—a cynical disco anthem inspired by the social burnout of networking. Fresh off a 2-month European and UK tour supporting OMD, Walt Disco plan to take on North America with another tour later in the year alongside the electronic pop pioneers.

The album, written on both sides of the Atlantic, transcends personal struggles, exploring themes of change, growth, and gender dysphoria with radical honesty. Produced in collaboration with Chris McCrory, "The Warping" introduces a new sonic dimension to Walt Disco's signature style, incorporating horns, woodwind, and swelling string sections. The band's cinematic glam, enriched by classically trained orchestral musicians, takes listeners on a journey of vulnerability and self-discovery.

Walt Disco's debut album garnered nominations for the Scottish Album of the Year Award and AIM Independent Album of the Year in 2022. The band has graced stages at Glastonbury, Latitude, AustinCity Limits, and SXSW festivals, opening for iconic acts like Simple Minds, Duran Duran, and PrimalScream. As they gear up for a North American tour with OMD, summer festival appearances, and moreheadline shows, Walt Disco invites listeners to embrace their vulnerabilities and join them on a sonicadventure with "The Warping"—an honest portrayal of life's complexities, growth, and the pursuit of authenticity.
